Meena and Deidra have expertise at the intersection of arts and philanthropy. They have experience as performers and administrators in music; as promoters of equitable panel practices and accessible application processes as grantmakers; as gatherers and network builders, and as facilitators and educators in issues of intersectional racial equity.
Meena Malik and Deidra Montgomery have co-facilitated workshops about white supremacy culture, given presentations on colonization and decolonization, and managed grantmaking programs at fine art museums, performing arts organizations, and arts service organizations. They are core team members for the Cultural Equity Learning Community, where they co-developed a curriculum used by arts and culture organizations nationally and internationally for building cultural equity in the arts and culture sector.
